Research Areas

Dr. Yang's research interests include abnormal aggregation of proteins in neurodegenerative diseases; protein interactions, such as presenilin-binding proteins and the interactions between amyloid-b peptide and apolipoprotein E, in Alzheimer’s disease; and the neuronal endosomal-lysosomal system and apoptosis in Alzheimer's disease and in animal models.
