Lisgaras Awarded R21 Grant
Scharfman Lab member, Dr. Christos Lisgaras, was awarded an R21 for the project titled “High frequency oscillations in Alzheimer’s disease.” Dr. Lisgaras aims to understand the role of a new type of abnormal electrical activity in Alzheimer’s disease (AD): high frequency oscillations (HFOs) which are known to occur in epilepsy but their role in AD remains unknown.
