NIA Renews Scharfman Grant
Dr. Helen Scharfman’s RF1 project titled, “Hyperexcitability in Alzheimer’s disease,” has been renewed by NIA for three additional years. Dr. Scharfman intends to significantly advance the understanding of Alzheimer’s disease (AD) by focusing on hyperexcitability, an aspect of the disease that occurs early in life.
